Port Sherry is a weekly comic written and drawn by Pedro Arizpe. Pedro lives in Monterrey, Mexico, with his lovely wife and their two cats. He’s 29.

For the author, this comic is a laboratory of sorts: a way of reconnecting with the joy of drawing, which for multiple reasons he abandoned 10 years ago to pursue a career in Literature Studies and Journalism. After toiling for eight years as a wordsmith in a widely known mexican newspaper, the lure of a digital tablet beckoned a rusted drawing hand to come out of retirement.

As his main passion are stories, he figured the best way he could make up for the lost time was mixing drawings and words to tell short stories that amused him, and perhaps other like minded people. His approach to comics is completely naive and inexperienced, trying new ideas and techniques with every piece and learning something new from each of these experiences.

Updates are sporadic lately since the author got a time consuming job in late April. He wishes he could still be doing comics all day long.
